| Course Description |
This learning experience provides a comprehensive review of the commissioning process from the building owner’s perspective. Of particular importance are those activities that have to be started prior to design and construction and that will affect the entire life of the project.
The course is organized around the five phases of the process. In each phase the course examines:
- Key activities
- Desired outcomes
- Participant roles and responsibilities
- Key documents
The course provides interactive activities to guide the learner through the steps within each phase and to highlight key features of the documents covered in that phase. |
| Learning Objectives |
- Describe the goals and activities within each commissioning phase.
- Explain how the activities and outcomes of each phase are related to down-stream phases.
- Describe the roles and responsibilities of the commissioning team members for each phase of the building commissioning process.
- Complete and interpret required commissioning documents and identify the phases in which they are utilized.
